First Baptist Church

The focus of the education ministry is to keep the membership abreast of educational training opportunities, scholarships, and various educational issues.  This is done through networking with area schools and community agencies, and collaborating with other church ministries that address such issues of concern. Initiatives of the education ministry consist of periodic workshops, group discussions, tutorial classes and test preparation.  Following the Chillicothe City Schools Schedule, tutoring is held on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m.  Through this ministry, we provide academic assistance, Ohio Graduation Test instruction and college preparatory advisement to any student in grades K to 12.
